Ancient heroes and modern heroes

Ancient heroes and modern heroes have some similarity's and some differences i will be talk about Perseus and spider man's similarity and differences also will give a explanation on who they are mostly only mentioning the part i believe needed to know them.

Perseus

Perseus was born from the king of Argos acrisius daughter Danae who he locked away to stop her from having kids because he was told by and oracle that he would be killed by his grandson and Zeus who turned to a golden beam shines through the one window that the room had and impregnated danae making Perseus a demigod  Perseus gets help by two gods to defeat medusa them being Hermes who have him his winged shoes and scythe that was used castrate uranos and Athena who lent Perseus her shield so he would have to look at medusa witch would turn him to stone and told Perseus he would need the helmet of invisibility to be complete for his battle Athena gives him the helmet of invisibility witch is helpful when Perseus gets there he finds medusa asleep and takes her head off avoiding looking at the head with the shield and puts medusa's head in a bag leaving returning to the noble that wished to marie Perseus mom Perseus turns the noble to stone.

Spider man

Spider man aka peter Parker was orphaned at the age of six his parents died in a plane crash overseas his aunt may and uncle Ben took him in peter is extremely smart and worked hard and became an honor student at his high school called midtown high school but his shyness and scholastic interest most of the time made him a social outcast one day at a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials there peter got bit by a radioactive spider becoming spider man peter tries out the powers he got from the spider fighting a wrestler for some money peter wins but does not get the full amount he was so made he did not stop the robber witch got his uncle Ben shoot peter goes after the robber but does not kill him letting the police deal with him peter then decide to become a street level hero know as spider man who later becomes more than a street level hero being a hero to all of new York.

Similarities

-Both fight to protect their family spider man and his aunt may also Perseus has mother 

-both have female love interests spider man and Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy depend on the version of spider man and Perseus with princess Andromeda

-has left their homes to do there quests such as spider man going to different dimensions to help other versions of himself and Perseus leaving his home to kill medusa in order to save his mother from a noble

Differences

Perseus	spider man
-moves around with his Pegasus  -got powers from god dad  -fights seriously   -from Greece   -does not wear a mask  -fights with a sword -has kids -raised by mother and a fishermen -fights dirty  -stories about Perseus ended	-moves around by swings around with webs -got powers from radioactive spider -jokes around in fights    -New York Queens  -wears a mask -fights with webs and feet also hands  -does not have kids  -raised by aunt and uncle  -spider man does not fight dirty -stories about spider man continues

Independent task

  Hercules tires: hercules tires are built to be strong and durable which is a very good reason why they would name them after the demigod, turned full god, hercules because hercules is known for his strength and durability one example of hercules strength is when he goes to the gates of the underworld to capture cerberus witch he did with his bear arms a show of his durability is when he was poisoned with hyrad venon the was mixed in a centurs blood by his wife on accident witch did not kill him but later on hercules could not deal with the pain anymore and throw himself on a fire pier dying being turned to a full god by zuse 

Nike shoes/clothes: nike is brand the makes sports shoes and clothing having that name gives you the belief you would never lose in them since nike is the name of the goddess of victory because it gives the impression that if you use nike shoes/clothes it will garinty you victory at everything you do with the shoes/clothes.

 our group members are Josh, Shawn, Connor, Jordon and the topic that was choose is LGBT rights the issues are that LGBT people have different rights and get executed and tortured in some places, and get excluded and banned from places What can we do to help solve the issue is to spread the word about what is LGBT and issues the LGBT face every day the impact that we want to have is that people find out and help people suffering
